Kuta
1. Walked along Kuta beach
2. Shopping in street shops: clothes, souveniors
3. Ate ribs and pulled pork buns with Bintan at naughty Nuri
4. Had few cocktails
5. Stayed in H-ostel and slept in capsule beds
6. Had an balinese meal with Bintan, Akila had a baked fish with rice and sambal, I had a mee goreng
7. Rented a motor cycle just for $10 including 1 bottle of petrol and went around the city
8. Visited hardrock cafe shop
Sanur
1. Stayed at Kirana home stay
2. Received a full body massage, just $22 for both of us
3. Had dinner at a nice little restaurant, had delicious pasta and pate with bread
4. Bought some cheese, milo and buns at a supermarket for breakfast next day
5. Watched the Judge and Boy next door from a DVD player in the room
6. Woke up at 12.15 am and climbed mount Batur
7. Had eggs boiled in the crater of mount Batur for breakfast
8. Got 2 kg of laundry done for $8!
9. Had Lunch and Dinner at a near by restaurant, Balinese special for lunch and ribs with salad for dinner while watching christmas deco and kids walking along the roads with their parents
10. Had fried rice for breakfast prepared by home stay lady
11. Started reading a Daniel Steel while Akila chatted with the land lady over a cup of tea
12. Walked along the streets of Sanur carrying the backpacks
13. Had cheese burgers for lunch with bintan
Tohpati
1. Went to see Orchid gardens and saw a luwak for the first time
2. Experienced locals fishing at an artificial pond and later them bbq and eat the fish
3. Walked along some paddy fields
4. Had dinner at a near by warung, had nasi goreng, mee goreng, omletter and a soupy noodle
5. Went on a trek along paddy fields and saw a temple, experienced balinese coffee and cakes and later had a foot massage,met some Americans living in Austrlia
6. Tasted coffee and tea samplings with banana chips and bought luwak coffee and tea
7. Went for a swim in the pool, finished the Daniel steel while Akila watched movies
Ubud
1. Stayed in a nice hotel and nice fruit punch for the welcome drink
2. Had Babi guleng for lunch with bintan
3. Bought books and post cards at a used book store
4. Watched the kechak Dance at a temple
5. Had crepes for dinner
6. Read on the divan in the balcony while sipping some tea while Akila watched movies while having coffee
7. Walked along the monkey forest road and ate along
8. Had Balinese meal from Puspa's: Nasi Kampur and Nasi goreng
9. Went on sunrise cycling at Tegalalang rice terrace, saw farmers, visited a local house and had balinese coffee and cakes while chatting about the layout of a typical house, visited a school, had a foot massage
10. Posted our post cards for parents
11. Akila had a swim a the villa swim pool while I read on a comfortable sofa
12. Had lunch at the hotel restaurant: nasi kampur, duck cooked in bamboo and
13. Had coffee in a hut facing the paddy field while watching the rain
